What is Digital Storytelling?

Digital stories are 2-4 minute videos created by combining traditional storytelling practice with modern day digital media. Digital stories are produced in small, intensive workshops where participants come together to write, discuss and produce their stories with the help of trained facilitators. Because digital stories are created using inexpensive hardware and software and personal media, they are a great way for individuals and small organizations to spread their stories to a wider audience.
